Story
On 6th February, I’ll be taking part in a sponsored sleep out to raise funds for Centrepoint, a charity whose mission is to end youth homelessness by 2037.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Centrepoint for over a year now, and during that time, I’ve developed a huge admiration and respect for the incredible people and life-changing work they do to support young people. Their commitment goes far beyond providing young people with a place that they can call their home, they offer education, training, and the tools young people need to build independent, sustainable futures.
The truth is, more than 118,000 young people in the UK are currently facing homelessness. Until I began working with Centrepoint, I hadn’t fully appreciated how widespread or complex this issue really is. But Centrepoint’s belief that youth homelessness can – and should be ended, is something I now share wholeheartedly.
Sleeping out for one night is a small challenge compared to what many young people face every day, but I hope this experience helps raise both funds and awareness for a cause that matters deeply to me.
Please consider making a donation – every pound makes a difference. I’d love to reach my target of £350, and your support will help ensure more young people have the chance to find safety, support, and a path to independence.
