Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm running this years London marathon in aid of George's Trust. Please read on or click on the link below to find out more.
George O'Brien was a very fit and healthy 17 year old who loved life.He was a keen sportsman and musician and sang in the Romsey Abbey Choir and was loved by everyone who knew him. George died very suddenly as a result of an acute lymphoblastic lymphoma. The aggressive tumour presented no signs and did not stop George from enjoying his life. George's family started the Trust in his memory and one of the objectives is to raise money to support Teenagers and Young Adults suffering from cancer. The Trust, in conjunction with The Teenage Cancer Trust ( TCT) specifically wish to raise funds for a much needed Teenage cancer ward at Southampton General Hospital.
