Story

My Unit 53 (Louisburg) Air Assault Battery, Royal Artillery started an event that consisted of 53 people, running 5.3 km and doing 53 burpees every day for 10 days. This was to help motivate soldiers during lockdown and raise funds for the NHS. I was one of the 53 taking part, however from the start I opted to carry out this event wearing my military kit (body armour and belt rig) weighing 13kgs and extend my challenge to 53 days in total. The Battery managed to raise just under £2000 which is outstanding but I'm hoping to top that up over the rest of my challenge.
