Every evening, volunteers at Barnsley Churches Drop-In Project provide food bags and hot drinks and essential clothing / sleeping bags to homeless people and others experiencing poverty in Barnsley town centre. 

The number of clients seeking help has risen dramatically in recent months and range between 45 and 60 per session. The project receives no statutory funding and relies entirely on donations of food, clothing and money in order to continue providing this vital service.
