Maureen received the gift of life in December 1998 following a Heart Transplant at Wythenshawe Hospital. Dr Naqvi and his cardiology team at WWL Hospital provided the best care and support prior to and post Maureen's surgery and this is our way of giving back and saying thank you for everything they have done over the past 22 years.

The Charity makes the most of every last penny and is very grateful for the support and generosity of our donors and the tireless efforts of fundraising volunteers and supporters who give their time and effort to help us.Our Heart and Lung Fund supports the care of our cardiology, coronary care patients and all respiratory services. The fund buys new equipment and the new Cardiology Catheter Discharge Lounge that opened in January 2018 was built entirely with charitable funds.
