Maurice had Parkinson’s for over 20 years, he managed quite well and held onto his independence for a lot of them years because of the support and medication available thanks to research the charity could carry out which he was often part of! He always went to the local Grantham group and all the excursions they put on, I believe this helped him no end and it was his escape once a week .
