I am running this triathlon with some friends and colleagues for my incredibly brave sister Zena who has been diagnosed with Lymes disease. 

Lymes is something i knew very little about until this year and a disease that there is a variability in knowledge among NHS clinicians. Some have little or no knowledge of Lyme disease and others are slowly progressing, with most of the new and more advanced treatments taking place abroad.

Caudwells' vision is for every Lyme disease patient in the UK to be treated and cured on the NHS
