I'm running the 2022 TCS London Marathon for Dementia UK.

My amazing dad sadly passed away on the 27th September following a 4 year battle with vascular dementia. To see first hand the deterioration of the brain and the effect it had on him has been really tough and makes raising as much money for this amazing charity all the more important. 

Dementia UK provides specialist dementia support for families through their Admiral Nurse service. When things get challenging or difficult for people with dementia and their families, Admiral Nurses work alongside them, giving the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions people need.

The money raised will help provide more Admiral Nurses to the families that need them, in their communities, in hospitals, in hospices, and taking calls on the Admiral Nurse Dementia Helpline.
