My name is Maximus Evans, I’m an actor, , living in the beautiful city that is Manchester. Being completely honest, I’m rubbish when it comes to talking about myself. But now, is a better time than ever to be truthful, honest and articulate about my struggles. 

 I’m doing this marathon in order for younger people to realise that, sometimes all it takes is one simple call, one simple action and the dark side will turn bright again. To speak to someone, to talk about your struggles, eventually finding ways to tame them. As a society we tend to only focus on the physical health of people, and disregard the mental. I, like many others, want to change this. YoungMinds are leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. 

Depression can affect anyone at almost any age. If I can get over where I was months ago, so can you! So get up, get over it, and let’s do this!  Seek help, and let’s do this as a team. Together
