Even a day trip can make a world of difference to a child whose family is going through a tough time. The cost of living crisis means that many more will be denied this opportunity so I am pleased to be able to help the FHC by running the London Marathon for them.

The FHC provides UK based breaks for families struggling with problems such as ill-health, bereavement, disability and financial hardship. All families who are supported by the charity are on a low income, haven’t holidayed together in the last 4 years and have at least one child under 18 who will go on the holiday.

Families supported by the FHC need to be referred by somebody who is supporting the family on an ongoing basis, such as social services, community health teams, health visitors, registered refuge and domestic abuse support services.
