The Flaxes have decided to make a joint effort to raise money for Zichron Menachem. With Maya running the 10k and Richard escorting the kids (Leah 6 and Netanel at 4) for a 1 km run, we would very much like to raise a lot of money with your help!

Zichron Menachem brightens the lives of Israeli children with cancer. Zichron Menachem UK works tirelessly to raise much needed funds to help ease the fear, pain and suffering of sick children and their families at its Day Centre in Jerusalem, which provides rehabilitation, counselling and educational and social activities. Volunteers also visit the children in hospital take the burden of caring away from their parents.

The families enjoy fun days and outings and three times a year the children enjoy amazing camps away from home – including visits to London. The children are provided with free human hair wigs to take away the stigma of being bald. The impact that Zichron Menachem has on the lives of Israeli children with cancer is immeasurable and has long-term positive effects on the community.
