Every year, since Dillan was 3, our family gets involved in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival by taking part in the shorter runs with our children. 

For us this is a good way to increase visibility of the most common chromosomal condition,  Down's Syndrome and by doing so disspell the outdated,  negative attitudes surrounding such a diagnosis.

The event is an amazing opportunity to have fun, make lots of happy memories and get lovely tshirts and shiny medals to keep and enjoy in the future.
