Maya and Rowan will run their second half marathon for Ataxia UK in October 2023. Their dad, aunt, uncle, cousin and grandmother all have been diagnosed with the condition. Currently there is no cure for it. Ataxia is a neurological condition that affects the cerebellum part of the brain and deteriorates overtime. It is a genetic condition so all of us - three siblings - have a chance of developing the condition. The symptoms are similar to MS and Parkinson's disease.
