Story

The Maynooth LGFA U14 young ladies decided that they wanted to give something back. They are a fantastic group of young ladies and are always on hand when asked to assist in community events - for example the past 3 years they have been involved in the Maynooth 10K event. This year when the suggestion was put to them about raising money through 'Dare to Dance' they jumped at it. Most families have been effected by this disease and through research (which costs money) there are now far more cancer survivors.

This is something close to the squads heart as one of the squad members lost her dad to cancer over 3 years ago, and all the young ladies believe that they can honor his memory along with other family members and friends they know, by doing something so simple as dancing to 'Shutup and Dance'.

Thank you for all the donations and we still have plenty of time to continue to raise money for such a worthy cause.
