Three Peaks Challenge · 11 May 2019

DS Achieve empowers the families of children & young people with Down Syndrome to enable them to fulfil their potential, whatever that may be. Potential may be centred on education, social inclusion, sporting achievement, personal happiness, good health & wellbeing, or other personal family goals.

Story

Thanks for coming to my page! I, along with a group of 16 other friends, and compatriots are doing the "Three Peaks Challenge" in May 2019.

We'll be scaling the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales which collectively means we're walking about 27 miles and scaling 9,800 feet. In addition we'll be doing 1,200 miles in a minibus, listening to roughly 782 tunes on spotify and eating more than 163 rashers of bacon.

I've chosen to use this Three Peaks Challenge as an opportunity to raise £1,000 for DS Achieve - a local Hertfordshire based charity that empower the families of children and young people with Down Syndrome to enable them to fulfil their potential, whatever that may be. It's a fantastic, small charity, set-up in part by brilliant friends and makes a big difference to many local children and their families who really need this help, support and encouragement.

Thank you for supporting my challenge, and DS Achieve.
