The Story...

Started by Jan Burke, myself and Ness Collenette, Judy Mills,  and Rob Watson are riding the whole way, with John Rudd, Daniela Hughes, Spike Mackintosh, Jill Jackson and others are  cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

It is in memory of Jan's friend and colleague, Darren Gordon, who died aged 27 from malignant melanoma. The ride won't be easy: over 900 miles in 14 days but we're hoping it will be enjoyable and that we'll be able to sit down afterwards. Training at the moment is hard: the weather's cold and damp and even the flat roads are uphill but (we hope) it will get warmer and the hills will, we're told, be our friends.

We've set ourselves a big target and your donation can really help us smash this goal.
