I have been involved with MJCC for roughly 20 years now. I was on the Women's Welfare committee, which works in partnership with MJCC and then became the Chairperson. This is a fantastic befriending service for the lonely Jewish community. Over the last few years, I have joined the executive committee which has been eye opening, and so rewarding to be a part of helping the community. MJCC hold several welfare and wellbeing clubs to keep people active and sociable in times when they would otherwise have no one. They have a visual support group, a mental health assistance group, an art club, luncheon clubs and light keep fit group for the older generation. MJCC also help people with their shopping needs, be it assistance getting around the shop, or collecting it themselves for the most vulnerable and isolated who have no family or support networks. They deliver 'meals on wheels' and do hospital visiting for the Jewish community.

Money donated will be invaluable to keeping this service going and will be able to help even more people.
