Chapter was set up in 1991 as a result of an initiative, led by mental health workers and service users, and is now a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. It was originally envisaged that we would work with 12 people a year, but Chapter has developed both in the scope of its work and the number of its service users, now in excess or 200.
Chapter assists in the continued support of people who, because of their mental illness, need help in regaining confidence, accessing training and employment, and moving towards fulfilling their life goals.
Our mission statement is to ‘Provide high quality, innovative, community-based services relating to employment, for people in and around Chester and the Ellesmere Port areas who have experienced a mental health problem.’
The event starts at 10am on Sunday the 16th of September. Rucksack with picnic to eat on the go, and some comfy shoes needed.
