WaterAid Scotland Munro Challenge 2024
Campaign by WaterAid (RCN 288701 (England and Wales) and SC039479 (Scotland))
Challenge yourself to tackle one of Scotland's highest peaks, raising money for WaterAid’s work in Rwanda – known as the land of a thousand hills - helping to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene a normal part of daily life.

Story

Unfortunately we were unable to complete our challenge on Sunday 8th June due to adverse weather conditions.

On Sunday 18th August, Eilidh McCrudden, Mark Hunter, Dominic Townsend, Catriona Bateman, Claire Johnston, Ritchie Nelson, Erin Brown, Douglas Glendinning and myself will be going up the hills (along with another McBaggers team) to raise money to support this very worthy cause.

WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
