Story

A team of intrepid hikers from the Leadership of Manchester City Council are taking on the 3 Peaks of Yorkshire on Friday 1st July, trekking 24 miles in 12 hours, to raise money for We Love MCR Charity!

We Love MCR Charity funds many of Manchester's grass-roots community groups tackling loneliness and providing opportunities for young people. And it awards grants to ambitious young Mancunians who don't have "the Bank of Mum and Dad" to help them to take their next steps to success.

The full team includes: Leader Cllr Bev Craig, Cllr Suzanne Richards, Cllr Garry Bridges, Cllr Gavin White, Cllr Sandra Collins, Cllr Greg Stanton, Cllr Sam Lynch, Cllr Olu Ogunbambo, Carol Culley, Julie Roscoe, Angela Harrington, Neil Fairlamb, Paul Marshall, Yvonne O'Malley, Kylie WardSean McKendrick, Amanda Corcoran, Pat Bartoli, Kate Macdonald, Paul Candelent and We Love MCR Trustee Michelle Rothwell - more to come!

Every penny raised goes to support Mancunians who need our help. Find out more here:
