Our vision is a world where people with Tourette Syndrome (TS) get the practical support and social acceptance they need to live their lives to the full. We aid their inclusion in education, work, and society throughout their lives, and support research and aim to raise awareness.

Story

The McCullagh family are climbing Mt Kilimanjaro this October half term to raise awareness and funds for Tourette's Action. As many of you know Rory has spent the best part of the last two years off school with this challenging and often frustrating condition.

In June this year he decided he wanted a challenge: after a couple of really tough years, to create a goal he could focus on. To get back on the front foot and prove to himself - and others - that he could still achieve something amazing. Rory thought that climbing Kilimanjaro should be the goal. His brothers and sister were keen to support him in his challenge and, after some training in the Alps and a lot of determination, are getting ready to go for it.

An important part of the climb is to raise awareness of and funds for sufferers of Tourettes. Tourettes action provides vital support for those suffering with this condition. All money raised will be going directly to the charity.

If you would like to support Rory and his family in this challenge in whatever small way we would be very grateful.  Rory's aim is to inspire others - for us he has already achieved this in spades!
