Our mission is to provide bike maintenance training opportunities, resources and environments that support rehabilitation of people in prisons in order to help break the cycle of re-offending as well as undertaking preventative work in the community. Refurbished bikes are donated to people in need.

Story

This year Margaret Carey Foundation will be taking part in this year’s #GivingTuesday, which falls on December 1st.

This year we want to raise £1750 which will pay for 10 prison trainees to achieve an MCF gold level award in bicycle maintenance.

It’s easy (and fun) to get caught up in the consumerism of the holiday season with days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That’s why a day dedicated to giving and doing good for others, like #GivingTuesday, is so important!

You don't have to wait until 1st December to support MCF on #GivingTuesday, you can donate now via this page.

Thank you!
