Before Matt got diagnosed with Cancer, "Cancer" was just a word to us three. Having never known anyone with Cancer, we all knew little about it and how it can effect someone's life - but not just their life, their family and friends lives too!

When Matt got diagnosed with Cancer, it was a hard and emotional time for everyone, but Matt had the determination and positivity to keep smiling and carry on. Even when times were hard, Matt still put on his cheeky smile and went to work. Matt was so strong,  he often reassured everyone else that everything was going to be ok! He made being seriously ill seem easy, something us three certainly admired about Matt.

Matt taught us all that no matter how hard life gets, never give up! He fought cancer until the very end. Now we want to give something back, which is why we are determined to complete the 10K Race for Life, in memory of our inspirational and brave friend Matthew Burton.

Any donation is greatly appreciated by both us and Cancer Research UK in the hope of finding a cure for Cancer!
