Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

This March I am joining a team of friends and colleagues running the Cambridge Half-Marathon to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity and the Academy of Ancient Music, both in memory of Christopher Hogwood CBE.

Christopher founded the AAM more than 40 years ago, and the orchestra has gone on to touch the lives of thousands the world over through its live performances and extensive recordings catalogue.

Sadly, last September Christopher died of a malignant brain tumour. My team (#teAAM) and I are running to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity (Registered Charity No.1150054) to help people like Christopher in the future, and to raise money for the orchestra Christopher founded, directed and loved. In the current difficult funding climate, I hope you will give generously to help me achieve my fundraising goal of £1,000.

Thank you in advance for your support!
