Story

I have been deaf since birth however it is only really in last four years that I have accepted that whilst deafness does not define me it is very much part of who I am. Naturally an extrovert, who volunteers for anything, in the last decade circumstance meant that I became a little more withdrawn and less of my adventurous self. Enter Faye, who in the last 5 weeks has already made so much difference to me and my family’s life. That is why we as a family are joining in the Great British Dog Walk 2021!

The Great British Dog Walk is about meeting people who also love their dogs, finding out what hearing dogs do for their partners.

There are many more applicants then there are dogs for deaf people and it costs money to train these dogs to help in such specific ways. Please donate to give others a chance to find their life-changing dog! Thanks 😊 .
