We decided to pick this charity because so many people are affected by mental health problems (1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year in the UK according to mind.org.uk). 

We are 5 crews of two paddlers that are going to kayak in the DW race starting on Good Friday (15th April). Due to the normal finish line being occupied by a vaccine centre, the DW race this year will finish in Teddington.

As a team we have all completed the Waterside A , B, C and D races in preparation which has helped us build up to kayaking longer distances at a time. In fact, we won the K2 Junior Schools Category for the waterside races.
