Story

*Mike Whitney voiceover*

Phil, an ordinary Australian, is offering himself up to be dared to things he never could, would or should do, all in the name of raising funds for a worthy cause.

I'm Phil, and I'm running the London Marathon to support YHA - that's right. The Youth Hostels Association. They're not just those hostels you crashed at between Machu Picchu and peyote when you were backpacking in Peru.

Every year, the YHA changes the lives of thousands of vulnerable young people, from those charged with the responsibility of caring for their relatives, to young people and families living on the breadline, young people with disabilities, life-limiting or life-threatening condition; those going through homelessness and living in temporary accommodation, by providing the opportunity to break away and experience a little bit more of the world.

Most of these young people and families lived in deprived inner city locations, living in impoverished conditions and have never had a holiday or even seen the countryside or beach. £1500 gives almost 20 children a break, to learn a new skill, make new friends, and have a home cooked meal.

So friends, lend me your dares. For your donations I will perform Beyonce choreography, reveal embarrassing baby photos, make you breakfast in bed, consume 20 nuggets in record time, hug strangers, take a baked bean bath, wear my clothes backwards. Each and every one of these dares will be filmed and uploaded to social media to fulfill the promise of my public humiliation and your donation dreams.

Donations sans dares are also welcome (and appreciated).

The Rules

1. Nothing illegal/sexual/painful/permanent/please guys I still need my job at the end of this madness. Come on guys, it's for charity.

2. Nothing that involves me spending more than £10 per dare (obviously, money that could be going to the YHA).

3. Dares and donations will be negotiated and agreed in advance, in the spirit of fairness and self preservation.

4. And just because I know you're all going to ask - shaving the beard comes at a minimum donation of £300 (individual) or £800 (if a group of you cheapskates pool your pennies).
