On Sunday 1st July, the pupils of Wilkinson House at MCS walked 10 miles in the blistering heat of urban and semi-rural Oxford to raise money for our two charities: Helen and Douglas House in Oxford, and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Pupils nominated these two charities based on personal experience of the work they do and the whole house then voted to support them.

In total we raised almost £700 for each of these charities - I'll be asking pupils for fundraising suggestions for 2012-13.
