I am working with the Terapia team to rescue a building from the English Heritage Buildings at Risk register and create a centre of excellence for the provision of services supporting vulnerable young people and children. (Please go to www.terapiacentre.co.uk/ for further details of their work.)

The Bothy on the Avenue House Estate was conceived as a model farm set up by H.C. Stephens who was later to further his aims at the Cholderton Estate. The building also has some of the earliest use of reinforced concrete.

We aim to put the building and the charity's work right at the heart of the local community.

As for the challenge, I cycle most days, but 120 miles over two days will be something else! I have my young boys to thank in training for heckling me whilst doing very little to help attached to my bike on their double trail bike!!
