Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those that don't know, my father died last year from a rare muscle wasting condition. He had been fighting with his condition for several years. To date their is no cure to this condition.

Sadly, I've also inherited this genetic condition and have started suffering with symptoms of muscle wasting, in particularly in my legs.

I'm determined to make a difference. I want to raise awareness of muscular dystrophy and the many different strains of this disease. The type I have is limb girdle muscular dystrophy. This rare genetic condition, has very little funding towards research.

My goal is to raise money which can be directed into research projects, which can help find a cure for this condition.
