Movember, the month formerly known as November, is when the more hirsute men of MechFS will be attempting to grow a moustache to support the changing  face of men’s health, with the ‘Mo challenge’.  They could be itchy, patchy, epic or non-starters but we are taking on the challenge regardless because we believe there has never been a more important time to look after ourselves and each other.  

3528 men in the UK have taken their life by suicide this year, that’s 353 a month by the end of October.  It’s a staggering 84 deaths a week, 12 a day, 1 man every 2 hours. Shocking statistics and we are all close to someone in our lives, who are struggling with the daily stresses and grinds of life in general or have maybe been diagnosed with prostate cancer, testicular cancer and/or mental health issues, where men are dying before their time.

This is a cause we all feel passionate about and we want to help change this by raising awareness and asking for donations as we try to grow some impressive moustaches. After all, growing a mo, will save a bro!
