Miles's 24 HOUR LIVESTREAM FOR GREAT ORMOND STREET CHILDRENS HOSPITAL

24 HOUR LIVESTREAM FOR GREAT ORMOND STREET CHILDRENS HOSPITAL · 4 May 2019
Hey guys, so we're here AGAIN!
You know I love raising money for charity, so if I ever find an opportunity to do so, I'm here! Its time for ANOTHER 24 hour gaming livestream, however this time for a different charity. My Fiancee Chloe works for Premier Inn, and their partnered charity is Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Great Ormond street hospital is one of the world's leading children's hospitals, dealing with ill children from all across the globe. If you follow me on my YouTube channel MeelayyB, you would know a little bit about what I went through as a child with being diagnosed with leukaemia (blood cancer) at the age of 14. With being diagnosed with a life threatening condition at such a young age, I can't stress enough how important it is to have the support there for younger patients going through other life threatening diseases/problems. Although I wasn't a patient at Great Ormond Street myself, I know that the money raised via their charity 100% goes towards the things that matter the most - helping to save our future generation. Great Ormond Street receives over 250,000 outpatient visits and over 40,000 inpatient visits every single year. From Heart problems to being born without an immune system, Great Ormond street Hospital care for multiple different diseases and problems in young children. All money raised by Great Ormond Street Hospital goes straight back into research into Childrens health, support for their families, refurbishment to the hospital and most importantly life saving (and mega expensive) medical equipment.
My whole life I've kinda been plagued with health problems. Unfortunately, last year I was also diagnosed with a Central Nuerocytoma (Brain Tumour) which also massively impacted not only me, but my families lives too! However, after almost a year I'm fit and well, and both my CML, and my Brain Tumour are massively under control, so its time to give back!
When Chloe asked me if I could help raise some money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, there was no other answer but YES!
So on Saturday 4th May at 10AM, we will be streaming YET ANOTHER gaming marathon for a FULL 24 hours in hopes of raising AS MUCH as possible! You don't have to donate to support, however it would be greatly appreciated! Just come and show support by chilling in the stream, that would be amazing if you could! Our overall goal for the 24 hour livestream is £1,000 which is incredibly high, so there will be a few 'goals' in mind which will make me do some silly (but entertaining stuff) on stream for you!
Every £25 donation - ACTIVATES MINIGAME TINS OF DOOM (Random tins, numbered. Whoever donates picks a number and MILES must eat 1 spoonful of whatever is inside!)
£20 DONATION - ACTIVATES A TOPPING FOR THE MINIGAME PIZZA OF DOOM - Take a choice out of the remaining toppings left which can be applied to the pizza consumed at the end of the stream - Either be nice, or be horrible! Its your choice...
£50 DONATION - AUTOMATICALLY switch the game we are playing! You can make me play ANY GAME at all, as long as its PG (of course) and I will play that game for the remaining time of the stream, or until another £100 is donated!
£500 OVERALL DONATED - MILES must wear the Bernard Bear costume (The mascot for Great Ormond Street Hospital) for the remainder of the stream!)
Aaaaaaand I'm gonna regret saying this... but IF we somehow manage to raise the target of £1,000, I WILL DYE MY HAIR ONCE AGAIN! The colour will be decided in a vote on twitter if it actually happens, so if you REALLY want to see it, lets smash it out of the park!
GOSHCoins will also be in play for the charity stream! You will earn so many GOSHCoins every 10 mins you are in the stream, and whoever has earnt the most at the end of the stream will win a prize! (Prizes to be announced before the stream starts)
Once again, I REALLY appreciate the support and engagement I get on these charity events, without you crazy lot I wouldn't be able to do great things like this, so thank you x
I'll see you all on Saturday, at 10AM!
Miles and Chloe (And the team at Premier Inn) x
