Ok dear family & friends, Martin and I ran the Perigueux 10k du Canal on the 1st December 2013, with my lovely friend Lorraine and big Ash.

14th of November is World Diabetes Day and UK National Diabetes Awareness Month.

Sadly for Louie every day is Daibetes Day. Most of you know our son Louie is Type 1 diabetic. Louie, now 14 was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 7yrs old. He deals with this cronic illness amazingly well, getting on with five or more blood sugar tests minimum per day. In addition he has to follow a very healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise. The successful combination of blood sugar management and a healthy lifestyle we hope will reduce complications in the short and long term. It really would be fantastic find a cure in his life time for this terrible disease, which is why I’m asking you lovely people to sponsor me (and Martin) once again to raise much needed funds for JDRF. JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity, aiming at improving the lives of juvenile type 1 diabetics. The fund researches to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes.
