The EY Foundation is a charity which works directly with disadvantaged young people, helping them to reach their full potential and realise their career ambitions. I currently mentor young people looking to enter the corporate world. Recently, one of my mentees was offered a job at EY. This would not have been possible without the aims of a programme created and funded by the EY Foundation. My mentee was provided with an opportunity to truly reach her potential - this is the Foundation's impact.

In March, I am taking part in the EY Foundation Sahara Trek 2016 - a 7 day expedition across the dunes, fossil fields and salt flats of the Moroccan Sahara Desert. This will be a tough physical challenge and all funds raised will go directly to the EY Foundation to support not just my mentee described above but many more aspiring young people reach their potential. All support would be appreciated as I prepare for the challenge ahead!
