Meet for Mike :

Charity car meet at Rockingham Motor Speedway in aid of York Mind, in tribute of Michael Richardson.

Mike passed away earlier this year after losing his long and difficult battle with depression and anxiety. Mike was a car fanatic with a passion for anything with wheels and an engine. He especially enjoyed the Retro Car Meets hosted at Rockingham Raceway and getting to take whatever (Not particularly sporty) car he had at the time around the track. (Note the above image of Mike back in 2014 taking his Accord Aerodeck around the track for the first time!)

Since Mike passed away, his friends and family have been working with York Mind to raise money and awareness to fight depression, so as to stop anybody else from losing somebody they love.

Not all of the details for the day have been confirmed yet, but we will be adding more information ASAP when we have a better idea of the number attending! We will also be asking for donations as an entry fee to this meet. There will be 20minute track taster sessions available at additional cost, which you will be required book in advance due to the limited spaces (The link will be added for this in the near future).
