Welcome to the UK Charity Walk 2022.

In memory of our former colleague Taylor Emery, we challenge ourselves with both physically and emotionally with our yearly challenge, this year will be no exception. 

Cancer and more particularly Brain Cancer is something you can’t go through life without at least some awareness of, but for a few people it becomes very up close and personal. MEGA UK are again remembering a true friend and colleague – Taylor Emery. Taylor was taken from us, despite putting up his own determined fight with Brain Cancer.

MEGA UK is a small tightly knit team and losing Taylor effected each of us deeply. This year we will have a couple in the team that sadly didn’t have the privilege to know Taylor, but his reputation and imprint on our team is enough to make them sign up.

Please help us do SOMETHING more this year and honour Taylor’s memory further.

We are taking on the challenge of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, 25 miles in a 12-hour window - another challenge that Taylor would want to be part of. Doesn’t sound too bad right? Once you consider the elevation involved and the time scale in which to finish this walk it is going to test us all. Thankfully, the finish line happens to be a pub where, as is the tradition, we will enjoy a hearty meal and some well-deserved drinks!

As ever we will support some incredible charities that are close to all of us. For several years, the Mega Team has supported Brain Tumour Research, and 2022 will continue more of the same. In addition, our guide this year, a serving Royal Marine Commando has requested his ‘fee’ to be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.
