In loving memory of my Granddad Jack Anderton, between the 7th February and 7th March I will be covering the 400km in my local area, representative of the distance between Goodison Park in Liverpool and Plainmoor in Torquay, the stadiums of the two teams my Granddad played for in his football career. This is the best way I can think of to honour the man who inspired my love of the game.

During the last weeks of his life Queenscourt Hospice provided amazing support and care to him and my family and I want to do something that can only go a small way towards showing my appreciation for everything they did and continue to do for other families in West Lancs, Southport and Formby. They rely on charitable donations to be able to do their incredible work.
