Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On the 2nd June, me and Katie are taking part in the Open National Three Peaks Challenge, this involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales all within 24 hours. The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) and the three mountains included in this challenge are;
- Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
- Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
- Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
We want to do this challenge to help raise money for St Mungo's, who are on a mission to ensure that everyone has a place to call home and can fulfil their hopes and ambitions. As one of the largest providers of Outreach services for people who sleep rough in England, St Mungo's work tirelessly to offer a route out of homelessness, towards recovery. Through embodying their values of empowerment, inclusivity, commitment, creativity and accountability, St Mungo’s put the people they work with first.
Your donations can make a huge difference to someone's life - here's a little summary of just what your money can do:
£25 could provide a hostel 'Welcome Pack' for someone sleeping rough.
£50 could fund a counselling session.
£100 could buy resources for our Recovery Colleges.
Any donation to this great cause would be hugely appreciated!
