Engie SSC Sleep Out · 7 November 2019

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Hey guys. So, I've organised a sponsored Sleep Out on 7th November 2019, all in aid of a great charity, The Prince's Trust. Myself and a bunch of my colleagues will be sleeping rough after work, outside our office and reporting to work the following day.

The aim is to understand and gain an appreciation for the harsh reality of homelessness and sleeping rough.

For those of you who aren't aware of The Prince's Trust, it's a charity which helps young people transform their lives. Many of the young people they help are in, or leaving care, often facing issues such as homelessness or poor mental health, or in the past, had trouble with the law. Their free programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives, allowing the development of keys skills while boosting confidence and motivation so they can reach their potential.
