Story
For anyone who knows Megan, you'll know that she loves her long locks and has spent years growing them! However, she has decided that, on the 26th June 2021, she would like to cut off and donate at least 10 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust, whilst also raising money to help them continue their phenomenal work.
For anyone who doesn't know what The Little Princess Trust does, a brief explanation is written below. They are a tremendous charity and help a lot of children who suffer through cancer treatment, providing them with a wig that would usually cost them as much as £200 - £300. Any amount that you can donate will go a long way to helping this charity and help Megan hit her £100 target! Below is a personal comment from Megan:
Hi, I am Megan Pepper and I want to cut my hair short.
I have a friend who had cancer and I didn't know much about it at the time until they told me and my friends that their treatment was over. I was so happy for them and thought, I would hate it if I had cancer. I don't know if they lost their hair because of the medicine, but if they did, I feel so sorry for them. Also, I watched a programme about cancer and learnt all about it. It was very emotional but very lovely too. If I do this, I can donate my hair AND raise money at the same time! (I have raised money for the NHS before and it was very fun!)
For any of you who know me, you would know I love my long hair. If you don't, you now know. I cannot wait to see what I look like with short hair, and to put a smile on someone's face with my hair!
