Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Imagine..

You’re young, fit, healthy and full of life. Your future ahead looking fantastic and enjoying married life with young children with all the dreams and hopes for them that that brings.  Then, one day out of the blue you’re struck down, can't move and scared.  After months of hospital treatment and misdiagnosis you begin to feel lonely, depressed unsure of any future and at times not wanting one, then you’re told you have MS and this is for life! This is how it feels for so many.

My eldest son, Jack Pinkney, was diagnosed with MS in 2012 at the age of 25.  He is an incredible young man, a wonderful husband to his wife, Tammy and a loving and caring father to Millie, Poppy, Jack and the twins George and Frank. He has struggled with his medication but I hope by raising funds that one day there will be a cure.

Jack along with many MS sufferers has a future and support from us all whether it be physical, emotional or financial is crucial to enable them to have the best that is possible.
