Women are still getting breast cancer and dying from it. That’s why Breast Cancer Campaign and Breakthrough Breast Cancer have joined forces to become the UK’s largest dedicated breast cancer research charity. And with your help, together we can put an end to breast cancer, once and for all.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in a cycle with some friends from RGU: Sport in order to raise as much money as possible for Breast Cancer Campaign, and in remembrance of a very special woman and mother Joyce Concannon, one of my good friend's Mums.  Joyce sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2012 after battling the disease in 2006 and later again in 2011 but kept strong throughout.  In order to raise as much pennies as possible we shall set off from Aberdeen on the 21st August on route to Blairgowrie for day 1, and then from Blairgowrie to Loch Lomond on the 22nd.  If that wasn't enough, we are swimming a mile on the shores of Loch Lomond at the Great North Swim on the 23rd.  Aren't we mad!?  We think that if we are making a huge effort with travelling all those miles on our bikes with our little leggies, then everyone can dig deep into their pockets, or get on the saddle with us!!  All in order to raise money for a GREAT cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
