Sheffield's research will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one. By fundraising you will give hope to families living with the ongoing challenges of a genetic disease.

Story

Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page in support of Genetic Disease Research at the University of Sheffield. Over the next 9 weeks, I'll be taking on a running challenge, to support the "Couch to £5K for Genetic Disease Research" campaign. In the UK alone, 1 in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder. Sheffield's research will change the lives of families who are desperately seeking a treatment for their loved-one.

It's no secret that I'm not the biggest fan of running, so this will certainly be a challenge for me, but raising money for such a worthwhile cause will doubtless spur me on!
I'm hoping to raise £50, and anything you can give to help reach my fundraising goal and support the university's research will be gratefully received. By making a gift today you will give hope to families living with the ongoing challenges of a genetic disease.

Thank you so much, and I'll keep you updated with my progress!!
