As many know we were thrown into the world of childhood cancer back in June 2023 with Isabella’s brain tumour diagnosis. Life was full of very mixed emotions, however our details as a family were passed to a couple charities by the hospitals we were involved in. In the depths of the unknown we were contacted by this charity who simply offered a helping hand with anything that was causing us stress on top of the stress of a new cancer diagnosis. For many families this helping hand from a friendly character can make all the difference in talking through any worries, asking for help with forms for financial help and so on, it really is a valuable charity that some families in this difficult situation see great benefit from.
