90 Miles in October for Mind 💚
This October, I’ll be taking on the 90 Miles in October challenge to raise money and awareness for Mind, a mental health charity that means so much to me, my family, and so many others.
I decided to take on this challenge because, sadly, I lost my sister to suicide. Losing her has had a huge impact on my family, and it’s something that will stay with us forever. No one should have to feel like there is no way forward, and no family should have to experience the pain of losing someone they love in this way.
Mental health matters deeply to me because of my sister. I want to help make sure that people who are struggling know that they are not alone and, most importantly, that there is help and support available when they need it.
Through taking on 90 miles throughout October, I’m hoping to raise awareness as well as money for mental health support. Every mile I complete and every donation I receive will be helping towards a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
I’m supporting Mind because of the amazing work they do to help people experiencing mental health problems. Their information, support and helplines can make such a difference to people who may feel lost, overwhelmed or alone.
I know that one challenge can't change everything, but if this helps even one person feel less alone, encourages someone to reach out for help, or helps provide support to someone who desperately needs it, then every mile will be worth it.
Please support me throughout October, whether that's by donating, sharing my fundraising page, or simply cheering me on. Every single bit of support means more than you know. 💚
This challenge is for my sister, for everyone struggling with their mental health, and for the hope that more people can get the help they deserve. 🩵🙏💚
Thank you so much for reading, donating, sharing my page, or simply supporting me along the way. It genuinely means more than you know.
Thank you 🩵
