Imagine if earning a living, accessing food and water, and even just getting your children to school was all dependent on a horse, donkey or mule. This is the reality for around 600 million people around the world. Owners are often very poor, and don't always have access to the skills to properly look after their animals, enough water and nutritious food, or access to vets, farriers and other service providers. Brooke works with owners, communities, service providers, governments and international organisations to make long lasting improvements to the lives of animals and their owners.
