Megan's Captain Tom 100 Challenge

Captain Tom 100 · 6 April 2021 to 6 May 2021 ·
Over the course of captain Tom's birthday weekend I plan to ride 100 miles on the mountain bike which in theory is 25 miles per day, not a massive rides but consecutively this is going to push my muscles stamina and will power. This will be my biggest ride of the upcoming season so far and I'd love for you guys to donate to my charity.
MACS is a big part of my life, these people have become my family and friends. We've taken a massive hit due to the pandemic and need your help! As a visually impaired rider it's difficult to discuss this subject with people not in your shoes, MACS provides a listening for such circumstances not just for myself but for many families with children and adults with underdeveloped eyes. MACS helps family's that when their children are born with our conditions and they feel the most alone and stranded. I can say from experience this charity is life changing! Please help us!
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on charities, with the cancellation of thousands of events and the loss of billions in income. At a time when vulnerable members of society need them most, charities have had to cut services, furlough staff and some have even shut down. Captain Tom stepped up to help, taking on his famous walk to support the NHS Covid-19 appeal and inspiring millions to donate to the cause. I will be celebrating the extraordinary spirit of Captain Tom my way and help my chosen charity.
