We are a team of 9 people supporting Macmillan, walking of course for my sister Megan. 

The team is named 'Megan Wished' as truly, Megan wished to live. During her 30 years with us she most definitely lived - with passion, energy, joy, mischief and resilience. Megan did not get the chance to live past her 30th birthday. She was devastated to leave her three beautiful sons Harry, Isaac and Ted, on earth when she could not be here for them. 

Cancer kills. And it killed Megan with her whole life ahead of her as a young vibrant mother, sister, daughter and friend. 

This hike is a testament to the resilience of being human. Through a fog of grief and heartbreak, we'll be lacing up our hiking boots and donning our waterproofs to take on 26 challenging miles over the Lake District. We hope to raise funds for a charity that provides straight forward and invaluable support to those truly in need.
