In June I am doing one of my biggest challenges to date, the Staffordshire half IRONMAN. This includes a 1.2mile swim, 56mile ride followed by a half marathon - All for a great charity muscular dystrophy UK.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a muscle wasting condition that results in premature death. The death age can vary from teens to early thirties. Cause of death is normally Cardiac and/or respiratory failure due to the heart being the most important muscle in the human body. I have chosen this charity as a special little boy Jenson aged 6 sadly has Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

I want to support Jenson and his family in this fight against this disease and to raise awareness for such an important charity. I feel privileged to be apart of #teamjenson which is a fund created by Jenson’s parents Craig and Hannah who take part in events up and down the country to raise awareness and to help find a cure for their little boy.

Muscular Dystrophy UK is a great charity that is helping Team Jenson by giving help and support but more importantly HOPE! However, this charity is desperately needing funds to help keep researching for a cure. So please help me raise money for this great charity, no matter how large or small Team Jenson would be so grateful!!
