Tara made such a huge impact on my life and her friendship will forever leave a mark on my heart. The great memories she has left me bring me great comfort. As well as bringing tears of sadness to my eyes they can fill my eyes with tears of joy as I remember the wonderful memories. Tara's life was cruelly taken away by meningitis in a short time her bright light was taken away from her wonderful family and friends. Sarah courageously ran the london marathon last year and has inspired me to put teams together both to do the relay and the walk at the belfast marathon. We hope to raise as much as possible in Tara's memory in order to beat this devastating disease. 

 

In our yearbook Tara put as her quote "Dream with your eyes open" and in her life she certainly did live a full and exciting life. Her spirit was an inspiration to us all and continues to be :)
